22% are researching property investment opportunities. A smaller but still important group is focused on the financial side, looking for investment opportunities in France.
3. What Aspects of Relocation to France Interest You Most?
52% are most drawn to the lifestyle and culture. This indicates that many of you are looking at France as a destination for a change in lifestyle, whether it’s the food, culture, or simply a new pace of life.
22% are thinking about retirement planning. France is an attractive destination for retirees, offering a high quality of life and a welcoming environment.
13% are motivated by safety and quality of life. For some of you, the desire to relocate is driven by seeking a safer and more peaceful living environment.
4% are considering career or business opportunities. A smaller group sees France as a place for work or business, which might require additional support and information about the job market.
4. Challenges and Concerns About Buying a Home in France
50% of you are concerned about understanding the visa and legal requirements. This is a key concern, and it’s clear that many of you need reliable information about navigating the legal process of moving to France.
50% also worry about finding the right property or location. This shows that many of you are focused on choosing the perfect place to live, but may feel uncertain about the best locations or types of properties to consider.
27% are concerned about managing the financial aspects of the move. Relocating involves numerous financial considerations, including budgeting, mortgages, and taxes.
23% are concerned about adapting to the language or culture. While not the top concern, language and cultural integration are still important for many of you, as they can impact your experience of settling into a new country.
Other concerns include unresponsive realtors, inheritance and tax issues, and fitting into the local community. Many of you mentioned challenges like communication difficulties with real estate agents or worries about how French laws and systems may affect your financial plans.
5. Where Are You in Your Relocation Process?
35% are just starting to explore the idea of relocating. Many of you are in the early stages, gathering information and thinking about the possibilities for your future.
39% are actively planning but haven’t made final decisions yet. You’re further along, considering your options and weighing the pros and cons of making a move.
17% are already looking for properties or preparing for the move. You are deep into the process and likely need more specific support in property searches and legal matters.
9% are already in the process of relocating. For those of you who are actively making the move, you’re likely looking for final steps and assistance with the logistics of settling into France.
6. Would You Be Interested in Additional Resources or Services?
48% would like relocation assistance, including legal, financial, or logistical support. This is a key area of interest, and it shows there is demand for comprehensive support services to help with the practicalities of the move.
48% are also interested in help finding and purchasing property. Many of you want expert assistance when it comes to navigating the French real estate market, whether it’s choosing the right property or handling the buying process.
30% are interested in webinars or events about moving to France. This suggests that many of you prefer more interactive learning opportunities, such as virtual events or live sessions, where you can ask questions and get tailored advice.
17% would appreciate language or cultural adaptation resources. While this is a smaller group, there’s still interest in getting help with language courses or understanding French culture more deeply.
17% have other specific needs, such as legal advice about inheritance, will laws, and other legal matters. It’s clear that legal guidance is a major concern for many, and offering specialized legal services would be beneficial.
